The problem we are working on is basically faced by the people who are working and have a full day job. We thought of building an automated home monitoring and convenience system . We tried to modify the conventional key and lock system.

When no one is present at home ,monitoring any suspicious activities happening around our house is not possible and the security is compromised very easily. Also, many a times people forget their keys inside the house or misplace it, thus making it impossible to get back inside one’s own house!

We would start by making an automatic door lock system, which can be unlocked with an key as and when requested by the person who wants access the house. e.g. maid, guests would want to enter the house while the owner is away.

The idea was to tackle the problem of Specific Access to Specific People , somehow we needed to ensure that if we're away from our house still we can control who enters the house and what parts of it can be accessible to that certain person.
