Shruti's deep love for nature and earnest commitment to biodiversity conservation and averting Climate Change define her as a passionate and keen nature enthusiast. As a master's student of ecology at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, she has pursued her academic journey with determination and unwavering curiosity. During her internship at the Forest Research Institute, Shruti pursued an ambitious meta-analysis project focused on understanding the multifaceted impacts of climate change on the delicate ecosystem of the Indian Himalayan region, unearthing critical insights into the region's changing ecological dynamics. Moreover, Shruti's commitment to applied research had led her to work on a climate change adaptation and perception study under the Government of Assam. Owing to her extensive engagement with the local communities and people from diverse backgrounds, she has a deep understanding of their experiences and challenges in the face of changing climate patterns. Shruti firmly believes that honing her people skills is essential for creating lasting changes.
