Donna’s Gourmet Cookies is a small-batch, made-from-scratch, preservative-free bakery business located in the Montgomery area. Donna’s specializes in guaranteeing cookies with a hand-made taste and texture by hand scooping batter and staying away from any artificial ingredients. This is a project-based internship which will challenge you with a real-world problem to solve.

The unpredictable nature of walk-in customers can often lead to one of two different undesirable outcomes; running out of product to sell, or throwing unsold product away at the end of the day. This intern will play a crucial role in the company’s productivity and profitability by using math and analytical skills to help solve this problem. The Sales Analytics Intern will have an important role in helping with inventory and waste management by examining recent sales data for the purpose of creating an algorithm to help project sales by time of day and day of the week. Since this is a project-based Experienceship, it will potentially pay a project fee to the intern based on results and impact.

Hours are flexible and much of the work can take place remotely. The team at Donna’s will assist you in how to present this experience on your resumė to impress colleges and future employers.
