Daily Schedule

Our schedule varies slightly each day depending on what time our specials are. Our schedule will also vary at times when we have celebrations, assemblies, and special theme days. Below is a sample schedule for what a typical Monday/Friday look like. I always do center rotations on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. I do large group instruction Monday and Friday. It is helpful to teach the children in a variety of ways. I share a time slot for Social Studies and Science with alternating days unless we we are working on a special theme or project. I also incorporate brain breaks and music activities during transition times. While we are working and learning throughout the school year, I use manipulatives and hands on activities.  We do 4 group bathroom breaks-before snack, before recess, before lunch, before rest. If at anytime, they need to go at a different time, all that they need to do is ask.
