Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology is a laboratory belonging to the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research located in Delhi, India. This institute includes eight research institute groups working on various aspects of neuronal health including brain development using zebrafish as a model, pharmacogenomics of Alzheimer Disease, diagnosis of rare neurological conditions and cellular and molecular studies into mechanism of ataxia and neuropsychiatric diseases. A 15 year long effort at the institute to identify and characterize repeat expansions that lead to ataxia in indian populations has culminated in the development of diagnostic markers.
