In 2001 she completed an adult cardiology training course at the university of Toronto. Dr Farida Jeejeebhoy. She also provides training in congenital heart failure and pregnancy coronary disease. Dr. Farida Jeejeebhoy is a University of Toronto Assistant Professor of Medicine and William Osler Health System Cardiologist. Dr Jeejeebhoy chaired the American Heart Association's first scientific declaration on cardiovascular pregnancy treatment.
In 1959 Dr Jeejeebhoy graduated from Christian Medical College Hospital in Vellore, India following in the footsteps of his grandparents. Dr. JeejeebHoy is a member of the Department of Nutritional Science at the University of Toronto, who is an Emeritus Professor of Medicine. Formerly Division Director of Gastroenterology at University of Toronto and the Toronto General Hospital, he developed a graduate programme for clinical and academic gastroenterologists and led a post-graduate training programme.
