CHRISTMAS FUN

We got into the Christmas spirit by illustrating a poem about Christmas with imagery and music. To do it, we appsmashed Adobe Spark Video and Flipgrid and we had a blast!

We also had fun sending personalized videos of AI Santa speaking our Christmas greetings to our friends or family.

MARTIN LUTHER KING

We did some activities related to this important character in order to introduce him. We also listened to his famous speech: I have a dream.

SAINT VALENTINE'S DAY

We wrote a Saint Valentine's letter to someone we admire, saying his or her virtues following the structure given by the teacher and we recorded it too. We also uploaded this activity to our blog.

SAINT PATRICK'S DAY

We learnt some vocabulary related to this day and we played some games such as jigsaw puzzles and word searching activities in order to know one of the four saint patrons of Great Britain.

SAINT GEORGE'S LEGEND

Our class worked with this Catalan and English legend in a very special way! The class was turned into an Escape Room and obviously, the topic was Saint George.

We accomplished a set of clues related to Saint George's legend to open a final lock and get a prize at the end of the class.

The project

The Breakout

PROJECT: BRITAIN

In order to start with the UK as a project, our class faced and accomplished a Digital Breakout on topic. We dealt with the four capitals of the United Kingdom: London, Belfast, Edinburgh and Cardiff. In the end, we had a reward, after opening the final lock on the teacher's table.

Then in order to finish our 1st ESO English Course, the teacher proposed to get a topic related to England and presented it to the class.

The topics were the following ones: sports, symbols, politics and history, festivities, food and drinks and superstitions.
