MOBILITY DIARY
There are many surprises and adventures experienced by the Erasmus + Team as a whole. This time, the Spanish and Greek teams share moments, culture and experiences. Follow the mobility day by day:
DAY 1: ATHENS
We begin our journey in Greece knowing the most important places in Athens:
National Museum. In the museum we looked to see if we could find the Epitaph of Seikilos but what was our surprise when we discovered that it was not there where it rests.
We visited the Changing of the guard.
Acropolis.
After recovering our strength with an exquisite meal, we still had the strength to visit other emblematic places in the city:
Monastiraki neighborhood.
Roman agora.
Hadrian's Library (Library of the 100 columns).
Pantanos Library, Hadrian's Gate.
And for dinner,... a tour of the Plaka neighborhood.
Nothing more and nothing less than 20 km of walking we have given ourselves today but...
We are convinced that they have been worth it!
DAY 2: ATHENS & KARDITSA
Today has been a travel day.
In the morning we have taken the opportunity to see the area of the port of Athens, which we had not yet visited, and after eating we have headed for Karditsa, a town that will welcome us during our journey in this mobility.
Lovely! And with a dinosaur exhibition included!
(They must have freaked out with us while we were rehearsing our typical dances in the Karditsia park because... they even made a group of us). If so... the name of the project already says it: music unites.
¡Visitamos Trikala!
DAY 3: METEORA
Today has been a day of emotions. At last we have met our partners from Sofades, and the truth is that the day has been the most fun, because we have visited together the Meteora area, and its impressive monasteries.
We learn more about the Protestant Christian religion and even... We have shared our first dances!
And if we tell you that we have found some of the most curious flutes and that we have heard something similar to Gregorian chants? Music is everywhere!
This looks very good... and then,,, We visit Trikala!
DAY 4: SOFADES
Today has been a day of joint work at the IES de Sofades.
We visited the Sofades institute, which is a FP institute with which our colleagues already worked last year. We have loved the electricity classes, the mechanical workshop and the vineyards. A very cool center!
The students of the IES Reyes Católicos have made a presentation where they have shown different relationships between music and health (some of them very interesting!).
The students of the Sofades IES have given us a presentation on the documentary "The tomatoes listen to Wagner".
DAY 4: SOFADES
But we haven't told you anything about our exchange of traditional dances! You should have seen Patxi, our director, dance the Sirtaki, a typical Greek dance. After. we cheer up with a Txamiro and an Ikariotikos.
What a good time we have had!
DAY 5: BACK
On the last day in Greece we still took the opportunity to visit the Panathenaic Stadium. Nice acoustic!
Farewell day and taking stock of what has been learned and lived.
With video for Canal Sur TV included!
