Erasmus + is a European Commission program that entered into force on 1 January 2014 for the period 2014-2020, with the aim of increasing the educational and training skills of its participants and their insertion into the labor market, as well as to support all current European Union education, training, youth and sport initiatives at all levels of education: school, vocational training, higher education and adult education.
This program is the European Union's response to current socio-economic challenges and is part of a coordinated strategy called Europe 2020, the Education and Training 2020 strategy and the Rethinking Education strategy, according to which investment in education and training it is considered key to the development of personal potential, the acquisition of new skills and the increase of job prospects.
It focuses on fostering formal and informal learning, beyond the borders of the EU. And it achieves that by stimulating cooperation between education institutions and, more importantly, between education institutions and private companies. On the other hand, the program also aims at improving the knowledge and dissemination of culture and languages.
The Erasmus + program offers students and teachers Mobility opportunities for learning or work (K1 programs), or cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices (K2 programs).
The ECNPC institution intends to participate, from the 2021-2022 academic year, in K1 work experience mobilites and / or K2 international cooperation programs for innovation and the exchange of good practices.
• Promote and implement the mobility of higher education staff and students,
• Build partnerships between HEIs and use internationalisation as a central element to improve the quality of our education programmes.
• Enable students from all backgrounds, especially those with fewer opportunities, to take part in international programmes.
• Promote the use of a foreign language as a necessary element of personal and professional growth.
• Promote cultural awareness of the realities of the different countries we have contact with and a stronger sense of European identity.
• Promote and use the results achieved in mobility programmes to divulge the importance of these programmes for and within our institution.
• Create tools to quantify the impact and results of the mobility and cooperation activities in which we participate.
• Use the experience gained by mobility students to promote the programmes.
With all these objectives in mind, for the period 2021-2027, the IECNPC Institute aims to participate in learning mobilities for staff training (KA1), work experience mobilities for students (KA1), and Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good internships (KA2) promoted by our national agency (SEPIE) and the Education Consortium created by the Generalitat de Catalunya.
We have the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) for the period 2021-2027. This letter allows the centers that obtain it to participate in training and mobility activities for teachers and students in European Union member countries and in cooperation programs for innovation and good practice within the framework of European programs.
Obtaining the Erasmus Charter allows us to take a step forward in the Internationalization and Modernization Plan of the center in terms of international mobility in Higher Degree Training Cycles. However, we continue to work and move forward for the participation of students and teachers at the center in international mobility.
