Information about the town and/or neighborhood

Moraleda de Zafayona is a municipality located in the province of Granada, Spain. According to the 2021 census (INE), the town’s population was 3016. Mainly a farming community with ancillary trades & workshops but sustaining 2 banks, a medical centre, prep/junior and senior schools, a sub post office, a library, 5 small supermarkets, 4 petrol stations, a summer-time lido,2 small hotels, excellent bakers and a plethora of bars.It´s located at around 40-minute drive to Granada.For more information: https://www.turgranada.es/en/municipio/moraleda-de-zafayona/

Getting to school

– Possibility of car-pooling with other teachers when commuting from outside Moraleda (subject to their availability, itinerary and/or schedules).- Bus routes to/from Granada: https://www.alsa.es (check for Moraleda and/or Moraleda empalme) 

Accommodation

Teachers do not usually live in Moraleda de Zafayona but in small villages that surround Granada.

– Flats are easily available for rent in Moraleda.
