10pm:
OUR GUIDED TOUR WITH CIARAN:
"The history of Ireland in two hours"
(and many a laugh!)
The our familiy friends met us at 10 am and we started the tour for Dublin and we saw Dublin Castle, then we went with the Irish people to Phoenix Park and we saw same animals in freedom, at 6 we finished to see the park and we went to the city center to do some shopping , 1 hour later the people in the hostel went to have dinner in McDonald's.
We went to the city center and had a guided tour.
Later we went to city center and we looked at people singing in the streets, after this we went into Brown Thomas and saw brands like GUCCI, PRADA, OFF WHITE, MONCLER...
We wait for the irish people to come and eat in Beshoff's. After lunch of fish and chips or chicken and chips, we went to Phoenix Park and we saw deer and then we went to a monument just to stay there listening to music.
Later we took the bus to the city center and walked around for a few hours.
Finally we took a bus home .
800 hundred years of fight. Killing or not killing the Queen of England?. The theory of eating babies. A Cathedral who was also a whisky distillery, and a brothel managed by a serial killer. The saint who never existed.
In Dublin's fair city
Where the girls are so pretty
I first set my eyes on sweet Molly Malone
As she wheeled her wheelbarrow
Through the streets
broad and narrow
Crying
"cockles and mussels,
alive, alive, oh"
Alive, alive, oh
Alive, alive, oh
Crying "cockles and mussels, alive, alive, oh"
Some of the hostel students, who had more time to walk around the city,
chose to visit
"The Book of Kells and the Long Room".
And they didn't regret it!
