On Monday the 14th we went to the high school of Debrecen and the first workshop we did was a presentation about the history of Hungary and Debrecen held by some hungarian students. They explained also the different monuments, buldings and memorable things from Debrecen. Then, we had a break to eat our lunches and to talk, then, the french students did a workshop about the development of AI, its effects, advantages and disadvantages which had a presentation and a kahoot.
By the time the workshop ended, we went to the library to do another workshop in which everyone got taught Hungarian. We learnt different words, such as 'vis lát' whch means 'see you' or 'sia/siastok' that mean 'hi' (you say sia when there's only one person and siastok when there are two or more people).
In the afternoon, the spanish group and our correspondant partners went to the 'Big Forest', which is a giant national park plenty of wild life. Us and our partners went up the 'water tower' to see the forest better. It's so large that if you look at the horizon you can barely see anythong beyond the forest.
Monday was quite an exciting day to start our journey in Debrecen. At the end of the day, we were all exhausted, nonetheless, we had an amazing day there in Debrecen.
