On Friday, October 18th, we had our final day in Hungary as part of the Erasmus program, and it was a memorable experience for all of us. We started the morning at the school, where we showed a video about the workshop we had done the day before, on October 17th. This workshop was about Artificial Intelligence (AI). We were in international groups and had to think of questions about AI. Then, we asked university students to share their thoughts and opinions. It was really interesting to hear the different ideas people had about AI and how they thought it would change the future.
Later in the morning, our Hungarian teachers asked us to work in our national groups to write a short report about our first weekend in Hungary, which we had spent exploring Budapest, the capital. This was a nice moment to remember the places we had visited and shared fun experiences. After that, we received certificates for taking part in the Erasmus program, which made us all feel proud of everything we had done during the week.
We went on a cultural trip with our Hungarian partners in the afternoon. We visited a village called Hortobágy, where we rode in a traditional carriage and watched some amazing horse shows. The local guides told us about Hungary’s history and explained why horses are important in their culture. This was a special experience that helped us understand more about Hungarian traditions.
After our visit to Hortobágy, we returned to Debrecen. There, we had the chance to try a traditional Hungarian sweet called "Chimney cake." This treat was the perfect way to end an unforgettable day and an amazing week in Hungary.
