MUSIC BRIT 2024/25

American Civil Rights                                       April 2025

Students from 1st and 3rd year of ESO learned about civil rights in the U.S. through music. In 1st year, during the activity “Civil rights keep echoing”, they listened to songs like We Shall Overcome and Tupac’s Changes, and shared their ideas with drawings and short phrases. In 3rd year, with “From Martin Luther King to Tupac”, they talked about how music helps people fight for justice, using the songs Blowin’ in the Wind by Bob Dylan and Changes by Tupac. They also made connections with movements like Black Lives Matter.  

Our Favourite Songs                                                                                 February 2025 

Our 1st year bilingual class has just finished their own notebook of favourite songs. Each student presented a special song in class, explaining why they chose it, what message it gives them, and what feelings it brings up. With all their presentations, we’ve created a very personal and diverse collection, full of emotions, different styles, and a lot of love for music. It turned out great!
