Helicops angulatus is the scientific name for Cobra d'água do litoral. It is found from São Paulo to Uruguay and areas close to Argentina. It's a reptile.
It usually eats fish, paddock, frog, newts and aquatic insects.
They usually have a very dark color like black or brown. But their belly is usually blank or yellow.
Males usually are smaller than females.
Females put, each time, 15 to 18 eggs.
This species is endangered because of water pollution, destruction of humid habitats, run over are also threats to the species.

6) They are semi-aquatic and always live close to rivers, lakes and wetlands, even on beaches.
7) They appear to hunt preferably in the morning.
8) Many fishermen end up catching them as they are attracted to the baits on the hooks.
9) This species is very docile and usually runs away when disturbed.
10) It feeds on fish and amphibians.
