Ms. Amanda

Greetings to you all!

My name is Ms. Amanda and I am so excited to be teaching 2nd grade at Twin Cities International Elementary. This is my second year at TIES and I am so happy to be here! I originally graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN in 2012 with a bachelors in political science (emphasis in Constitutional Law), with minors in history and women's studies. After college I worked in Human Resources for 8 years in employee training and development. During the Covid-19 pandemic I rediscovered my love of inquiry and teaching. I decided to go back to school for a Master's in Education with initial K-6 teaching licensure from Concordia University, St. Paul. I completed my studies in 2022 and finished the school year as a substitute teacher. Last year I joined the second grade team and am looking forward to another great year in second grade!
