Ms. Rachel

Hello, my name is Ms. Rachel Meyer.  This is my 11th year at TCIS!  I enjoy building relationships, seeing students grow academically and the overall joy of being in a classroom.  I can't wait to meet my class of 2024-2025! 

As most of the students and staff know, I went to the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.  There I learned to love the campus, having collegiate academic rigor, and found my closest friends.  In college I participated in the marching band, where I met my husband Joe.  I got a B.S. in Youth Studies, where I found my passion in working with young people of all ages.  After college I decided to get my Masters in Teaching at Hamline University. 

I am married to Joe, who is a lawyer.  We have a 5 year old.  He loves anything with wheels.  We also have a 2 year old girl. She loves swimming and running around. Our family has season tickets to Gopher football games and enjoy going the the games.  We like to try to travel and find places to day hike.
