Please be prepared to be available for at least 10 hours a week. During the Fall & Spring, we require at least 1 weekend shift of availability. Availability is not a guarantee of work.
Your schedule is based on your availability, the courses you can teach, and client demand. This is not a guarantee of work.
In your offer call you discussed skills you can teach, as well as your training date. If you need to make any changes, please reach out to the Manager who interviewed you.
*Upon receiving a written offer by email, staff will sign their offer letter and move forward with paperwork, as noted below. The following is a general list of paperwork requirements and could change.
Please accept your job offer within 48 hours.

Form I-9: Our People Services team will reach out to you via email about a week before your training day with instructions on how to complete the Form I-9. Before your training date, you will receive a link from "Clear I-9" that will contain the I-9 form for you to complete electronically. Right now, the only thing to do is make sure you possess the proper, unexpired documents. A list of eligible documents can be found here: https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/acceptable-documents
First Aid/CPR certifications are not required for online programs - you can skip this section.
Our People Services team will be conducting a criminal background check as well as calling your references. Favorable passing of all screenings is required for your offer to remain valid.
You may be required to complete additional forms or background checks per state or federal requirements.
Will you need a work visa in order to work with us?
Staff that are not US citizens or Green Card holders typically require a specific work authorization document in order to work with us. This includes those who are in the US on an F-1 student visa. We want to be proactive to ensure the proper work authorizations are in place before your first day of work so there are no showstoppers when it comes time to attend training. Please let us know if this applies to you if you have not already.
Resources
You'll receive an email notification to log-in to your Job Account to complete your offer letter and paperwork. As your start date approaches, IT will change your login email to your new iD Tech email, which is usually formatted as the first 3 letters of your first name, and your last name (Janice Doe would be jandoe@idtech.com for example) The password will not change.
Before Staff Training
Complete your Bio and Bitmoji. Instructions can be found HERE
Changing your training date is generally discouraged once scheduled, but should you need to make alternate arrangements, please refer to the Instructions in your confirmation email.
You should have confirmed your training date in your offer call, unless otherwise discussed between yourself and your Onboarding Manager. Please reach out to them if you are unsure of your training date.
Roughly a week prior to your training date, you will receive an email reminder with the Zoom link for training and expectations.
Staff Training
An online training (via Zoom) is mandatory for all staff.
You will be paid for the time spent training.
You should join training from a quiet, professional setting with your camera ON. Please do not join from a mobile device, vehicle, or other distracting setting.
If these expectations are not met, a trainer will ask you to leave training and it may jeopardize your employment with iD Tech.
After Staff Training
Your Supervisor will reach out via email to introduce themselves.
You will attend regular group check-ins with your team.
You will have paid time to review resources and tools before you begin teaching.
Be feedback-oriented. You can expect to give and receive both positive and constructive feedback. We aim to constantly improve how we approach our work and feedback is an integral part of our growth. This goes for us, too. We hope that you will feel comfortable approaching us with feedback while we work together.
Be flexible. We work in a fast-paced environment where things can change on a minute-to-minute basis. In order to meet the needs of our students, their families, and each other, we must be nimble when it comes to change.
Be collaborative. As a team we must have each other's backs. This means you must be willing to jump in and help the team if there's a need.
Be solution-oriented. If you're having a hard day and you need to vent, talk to your direct supervisor. In those conversations, we are also going to encourage you to bring solutions to the table. We are partners in problem-solving!
Be responsive. During your onboarding process and as we get closer to your start date, you can expect a lot of communication from the Talent Acquisition Specialists and our People Services team. Please respond promptly (within 24 hours) to any requests requiring your attention. If you find yourself swamped, please let us know when you will be able to respond. Clear and constant communication will help us help you.
What's next? Relax and celebrate your new job! We're excited to have you on our team.
