Susan Aiello specializes in creating healthy, comfortable, elegant and engaging interiors that stand the test of time and that are tailor-made to the individual needs and preferences of the people that occupy them. She specializes in seamlessly incorporating modern amenities and sustainable design features into older properties while preserving or enhancing their original charm and in completing challenging projects in record time and with minimum disruption. Depending upon each client’s preferences and the scope and location of each project, Susan can provide a complete range of design services or function seamlessly as part of a multi-disciplinary project team.

CREDENTIALS

Susan is one of the few interior designers to be certified to practice their profession by the National Council for Interior Design Certification and the State of New York as well as to be accredited as a LEED AP by the US Green Building Council. During her one-year term as president of the New York Metropolitan Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), her managerial skills and focus on the bottom line enabled her to reduce operating costs by 2/3 while increasing member benefits.
