In Sesto Fiorentino there are some important places like the town hall, important squares, the library, the museum, the cinema, theatres, churches.
Sesto Fiorentino's Town Hall is situated in Piazza Vittorio Veneto and manages local administrative services, including population registry, civil status, and official certification. It oversees city planning, urban maintenance, school services, social services, and security via the Municipal Police. The URP (Public Relations Office) assists with forms, permits, and digital services. The current Town Hall was inaugurated on 25th June 1871.
Giuseppe Pescetti Bust
Near the Town Hall, in Largo 5 Maggio, stands the bust of Giuseppe Pescetti (1859–1924), a lawyer and politician who devoted his parliamentary work to children's rights and the fight against poverty, and openly opposed fascism in the final years of his life. The bust was sculpted in 1950 by the Sesto-born artist Antonio Berti. Behind it, a large mural entitled "Alle Partigiane" covers the wall, dedicated to the female partisans who fought for freedom during the Second World War.
The widow and the orphan
In the centre of Piazza Vittorio Veneto stands the War Memorial known as "Soldier with Woman and Child". It depicts a widow with an orphan, while at the top a soldier holds a winged Victory in his right hand and a flag in his left. The monument was sculpted by Odo Franceschi and draws inspiration from 19th-century models. It was inaugurated on 21st June 1925, in the presence of the Duke of Aosta, Emanuele Filiberto di Savoia-Aosta, cousin of Vittorio Emanuele III, the reigning king of Italy.
Ernesto Ragionieri library
The Ernesto Ragionieri Library is the only library in Sesto Fiorentino. It is located in Piazza della Biblioteca 4, inside Villa Buondelmonti, and is named after the historian and academic Ernesto Ragionieri. Visitors can borrow books for one month and must return them by the due date.

Case del popolo
Case del popolo are meeting places, cultural and recreational centers. In these places, people can meet to eat and spend time together. In the Case del Popolo most of the waiters and cooks are volunteers.

It is located in Gino Venni Street.

It is located in Antonio Gramsci Street.

It is located in Risorgimento Street.
Casa del Popolo of Colonnata
It is located in Mario Rapisardi Square.
The Church of Saint Martin is situated in Church Square. In addition to being a Catholic church, it has a public garden with a football field, a volleyball court, a gravel playground, and children's play equipment such as a slide and swings. There is also a small theatre used by children who attend catechism.
The Church of Saint Francis is situated in Saint Francis Square. It has two outdoor areas: a small football field with a table football table and a basketball hoop, and a volleyball court with some plants around it. There is also an indoor space reserved for children who attend the oratory.
The Church of Saint Joseph is situated in Calenzano road. It has a concrete football field, a volleyball court, an open space for skateboarding, and an indoor space available for rent.
The Richard-Ginori museum
The Richard-Ginori Museum was founded by Carlo Ginori. It houses sculptures and works made by the Manifattura di Doccia. The museum is currently closed for renovation and the reopening date is not yet known. It is in Via Pratese.
The Limonaia Theatre is a large venue where you can watch shows and take theatre lessons. It is in Via Gramsci. Tickets cost €16 for adults and €10 for children, but it depends on the shows. It is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday.
San Martino theatre is where you can watch shows and the Festival of Teatro Popolare. The theatre is in Piazza della Chiesa Street.
Piazza Vittorio Veneto is the centre of Sesto Fiorentino. In the square there is a war memorial built in honour of the fallen of the First World War. There is also the Grotta Cinema, which offers both indoor screenings and open-air film showings. On top of the cinema there is a restaurant. In the centre of Sesto Fiorentino you can also find many ice cream parlours, each with their own specialty flavours, clothing stores for all occasions, and typical restaurants where you can taste the specialities of Sesto Fiorentino
