Aims of the project

The best way to address bullying is to stop it before it starts. There are a number of things school staff can do to make schools safer and prevent bullying. Schools need to respond to bullying whether or not the individual shows serious or immediate harm. Responding immediately and appropriately can stop bullying escalating or happening again.

All these objectives are directly connected with our first horizontal objective: Social Inclusion. It is important because all children have a right to a good education, to feel valued, have the opportunity to fulfil their potential and take part in educational opportunities with their peers. We intend with this project to raise awareness in our students and the educational community towards preventing Bullying and its importance, providing other schools with the guidance and examples needed to replicate the initiative in future projects.
