Hello friends! My name is Mrs. Appleby Johnson and I am the Lead School Counselor. I am a proud ICSAtlanta Wolf and am in my 10th year at our school!
I received my Bachelors of Arts in Sociology from Georgia College and State University (Go Bobcats!). I completed my Masters of Education in School Counseling at Georgia State University (Go Panthers!) I love being a school counselor and working closely with my students each and every day. In my free time, I like to hang out with my families, husband, and my two dogs, read, and do lots of crafts!
Mersal Muehleib (Pronounced MYOO-libe) is beginning her 6th year as School Counselor here as Northern Virginia/DC native! She worked in Northern Virginia as a School Counselor for 5 consecutive years in the same district that she grew up in and attended school at, herself. Prior to that, Ms. Muehleib was a community counselor supporting both adults, and adolescents. Ms. Muehleib has just moved to GA during July of 2026 and is ecstatic to begin working with the ICSAtlanta students, families, and community members! Ms. Muehleib will be our Lower Campus School Counselor and is looking forward to working alongside our staff and supporting our students! Please feel free to look out for her funky earrings, glasses, accessories and greet her with a big wave or hug.
Hello! I am Ms. Lewallen, and I am thrilled to spend another great year with the ICSAtlanta family as the Upper Campus School Counselor!
After graduating from Georgia State University with a B.A. in psychology, I entered the world of education to explore my passion for school counseling. In 2021, I completed my Master of Education in Professional Counseling (with a concentration in school counseling) at the University of West Georgia. Outside of school, I love being outdoors with my dogs and husband, attending local festivals, and watching movies.
