Welcome to ICS High School!
Whether you are a student, staff member, parent, guardian, or visitor, we are delighted to welcome you to our vibrant high school community. This handbook will introduce you to our comprehensive programs and guide you through the opportunities that await.
Our high school program is built upon ICS's Foundational Principles, with The ICS Way at its heart—encouraging our community to care for ourselves, each other, and our shared environment. From this foundation, we have developed a Highly Effective and Learning Progressive program that responds to each student's individual interests and needs. As students advance through their chosen pathway, they are challenged to develop and demonstrate the ICS Learner Profile traits, ensuring they graduate prepared to thrive in our complex and rapidly evolving world.
The high school years present both tremendous opportunities and significant challenges. Our commitment is to partner with families in supporting and guiding students toward success, regardless of which ICS pathway they pursue. While we are dedicated to nurturing, challenging, and empowering our students to excel, we recognize that adolescents require thoughtful guidance throughout this transformative process. This handbook outlines the comprehensive support systems we have established to accompany students on their high school journey.
We appreciate your engagement with this resource and encourage you to reach out with any questions or feedback about the information and policies contained within. Please contact us at hs.office@icsaddis.org.
Warm regards,
