Elementary Digital Tracking

If ES students want to track their summer reading digitally, we will use Bookopolis. Parents and students can set up a safe, private social network for your students. They offer summer reading lists that could be a good place to start. After you're done reading, students can complete their review of the book. Once you make an account, email Mrs. Saiya at icslibrary@ics.edu.sg to connect with the ICS Library and Media Center account.

MS/HS Digital Tracking

If MS/HS students want to track their summer reading digitally, we will use goodreads. Parents and students can set up a safe, private social network for your students. They also offer summer reading lists that could be a good place to start. After you're done reading, students can complete their review of the book. Share or connect with the ICS Library and Media Center account (ICS LMC Singapore ICS LMC Singapore) to get enter the different categories.

Our school uses Accessit, an easy-to-use tool designed to help you find books you're looking for. Books on topics that interest you and by authors you love are just a few clicks away.

You will soon have access by your school email. For now, you case use it in Guest Mode. You can use the catalogue to do more such as:

see what you have checked out,
renew your books,
review books, and more!

If you see something you like, just go to Accessit to check our catalog for availability.

Check back regularly to stay up-to-date with the NEWEST arrivals.

With a library account, you can check your account to see:

how many books you have out,
what their due dates are,
renew books online (if they are not overdue).

Various tutorials and research guides are available if you would like more information or instruction on these topics. If you need further assistance, please feel free to contact us.

If you want to request the school to purchase books that are not in the library, please fill in form below.

YOUTH HELPERS in the ICS Library and Media Center

This is an opportunity for students at International Community School Singapore to have better understanding about library work. They will be guided, experience all the work as the library staff.

We look for enthusiastic, friendly volunteers to work as part of our library team for:

taping,
shelving,
labeling, and
many other work-related projects around books and library management systems.

If you are a 3rd to 12th grader at ICS, self-motivated, friendly, and interested in contributing, like to join activities in the library, and love helping with the job in the library, then YES, please join us!

The Youth Helpers will also be in charge of updating a bulletin board and side displays once a month.

Tuesday from 3:15-4:15 p.m. in the Library at B207!
