RoboCode
Students will develop a game in Studuino character mode focused on obstacles and jumping . They will also learn how to add scores and change backgrounds during animation.
Students continue to explore character mode in Studuino. Students will be learning how to make animation which includes speech and changing of scenery.
Students are introduced to robot mode in studuino. Students will build simple robot and learn how to programme light and sound.
Students develop a deeper understanding of character mode on studuino. Students will learn how to make a simple ball game and understand different functions.
For the new campers joining our RoboCode camp will learn about all the materials being used in this camp. They will start to create their stories and fun using animation in the Studuino platform. Campers from previous week will progress with their ongoing projects.
The builder group will disassemble their light tower and start to build a delivery Robot. The animation master will show their creativity and improve/finish their underwater life project!
The Builders group will finish their project of light towers and will understand how we can control them using three different kinds of sensors (light, touch and sound). The animation master will continue to make a second project under water life.
We will introduce the idea of “Sensors” to the students and later help build a sensor light tower. For the other group who started to make animations will finish their first project of story telling.
Since most of the students forget to bring their laptops and iPads, we couldn’t achieve our camp day 1 objectives. So, on day 2 we will still be working with LEDs whoever brings laptops and we will start to make animation for those who brings their iPads.
In the first day of RoboCode camp children will learn about all the materials being used in the camp. They will start to use LED lights. Using block programming language they will turn on two LEDs at least.
