We put everything we learned together today. We figured out how long it takes to achieve saving goals (“learning about division”). We played the MoneySense Jeopardy game. Last but not least - we finished creating our own “Saving-Spending-Sharing” money box!

Today we took on different jobs to “earn” money! Some were engineers. Some were accountants. We learned how to budget our income. Then we had the chance to spend it on real items!

We learned that sharing is an important part of learning to manage money. Jesus teaches us to be willing and generous givers. We examined different types of charities to find out ways we could help. We also created our own “kindness coupons” for people around us.

July 15, 2025

Today we played a shopping game, making smart choices to take care of needs first before our wants. We learned to compare prices when we went shopping! We continued to set our saving goals.

Today, we learned that money is an important tool in our lives. We need to make smart choices with it. We knew that we can begin saving towards our goals. We started brainstorming saving goals appropriate for this age group.
