Getting to Know Mr. Meister

This will be my fifth year of teaching and my fifth year at Regina Elementary!

I am originally  from Algona, Iowa and attended Bishop Garrigan High School and graduated in 2017. I was involved in a lot of different activities during high school including baseball, basketball, football, track and field, band, choir, drama, Christian Leadership, and Student Council. After graduation, I attended Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with a Reading and Coaching Endorsements. 

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy watching my favorite sports teams the Iowa Hawkeyes (GO HAWKS!), the Los Angeles Lakers, the Minnesota Twins and the Minnesota Vikings, playing video games, and relaxing. 

I also enjoy coaching at Regina. I am lucky enough to be apart of two succesful programs, Girls Basketball and Baseball. I will be entering my fifth year coaching girls basketball and just finished my third summer coaching baseball.

I also got married on November 11, 2023.  My wife Lauren and I enjoy living in North Liberty.
