It was July 9th 1978, when six visionary sisters started this organization. Alhamdulillah, today, we have more than 1200 members all over Canada.
ICNA SISTERS CANADA a wing of ICNA Canada, a not for profit organization and a registered charity. All donations we receive are tax deductible.
Election are conducted every two year for President ICNA Sisters Canada and Sisters board. Sisters’ general assembly is the final decision making body in all matters.
We have chapters, regions and cities where our chapter and regional and city teams carries all the activities under different departments.
Our national team comprises of sister’s president and a team of elected and nominated board members.
Each chapter and region has it’s own elected president and shura. The department in-charges are constantly in touch with national dept. incharge.
The departments have a national incharge and a team of sisters nominated from each chapter/region. All decisions are made by discussion and deliberation between team members.
