We are excited to present our students with a more comprehensive and integrated learning plan in the 2024-2025 academic year.

Enhanced Education Strategy

In the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year, students will be introduced to STREAM education. STREAM refers to the integrated approach of our curriculum; it is an educational strategy that blends science, technology, reading/religion, engineering (design), arts, and mathematics. This technique assists students in applying their knowledge in real-world situations, culminating in conceptual mastery and a lifelong passion and comprehension of these fields. This revolutionized teaching strategy will be applied to the current academic curriculum.

Benefits of STREAM approach include:

• Encourages creativity, inquisitiveness, and problem-solving.

• Enhances emotional intelligence and social skills. 

• Multimedia exposure and multiplatform education.

• Improves critical thinking and decision-making abilities.

• Real-world uses of theoretical and academic ideas.

• The integrated and holistic approach of STREAM education makes students more adaptive to a wide variety of both hard and soft skills for problem solving.

• SRTEAM education's broad and interdisciplinary approach prepares students for the future workplace.

New Academic Standards

We are raising the academic standards in all subjects, including Arabic Language and Islamic Studies.

• Arabic Studies: American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages Proficiency Standards (ACTFL).

  • Islamic Studies: The National Islamic Studies Standards (NISS). 

  • Placement and Standardized Testing: Students will take placement tests to monitor their progress.

New Enrichment Curriculum

Students will be introduced to a variety of enrichment activities gradually and throughout the year including:

• A Book Club for Grades 3 and 4 with no extra cost to parents

• Fun Friday on Every last Friday of the month where students and teachers are involved in semi-organised groups per class to explore ideas taught per week 

• Science Show by mid of the term 

• Spelling Bee 

• Visit a farm or space museum, 2 trips in one Year 

• Gardening Activity, making every student have a plant and water it daily, discuss its biology with the teacher, and understand its growth as per light food and water, this activity aims at the spiritual connection of children with nature and nurturing, caring, and being mindful and responsible while living on planet 

• Children's Business Festival. It starts with money understanding in grades 3 and 4. Teaching kids concepts of earning, saving, and valuing the circulation of money and skill. It concludes with the final function at ICCL where children would exhibit their products or services to capitalize 

• Coding: a Once-a-week class aiming at simplified coding taught to kids at the end of which they should be able to have developed a website or make an app.

• Archery, yoga, or Martial Arts. One physical activity session per week for kids
