Day 2
(14th March)

Official welcome with the Headmaster, visit to school, presentation of students, coordinator meeting and lunch with typical food ‘Paella’

On this second day, the participating students were received live with the "Volver a Ejea" jota. This jota is part of the history of our town since it was written by several soldiers who were abroad and could not return to their places of origin.

We continued this day at the IES Reyes Católicos with a school-tour led by the Spanish students, who showed us the different rooms and spaces of the center: insect hotels, butterfly oasis, pond, etc. In this way, the participants in the Erasmus + were able to learn first-hand why the IES Reyes Católicos is an ECOESCUELA and the different measures for the protection of biodiversity carried out in the center.

To complete the day, we got to know each other thanks to different dynamics carried out in the IES courtyard.

The students were also able to get to know different areas of Aragon. All this thanks to the presentations made by the different centers of their tourist guides.

After tasting a rich paella, a typical Spanish dish, Teresa Ladrero, mayoress of the town, received us at the Ejea Town Hall.

Finally, and to end the day, we visited the church of Santa María.

Welcome from the Mayor of Ejea de los Caballeros and visit to enterprise of the town.
