As the successor to Cranston-Johnston Catholic Regional School (CJCR), Immaculate Conception Catholic Regional School (ICCR) opened its doors in 2009. Standing on the shoulders of tradition, we are guided by the vision of the founding pastor, which is reflected in his words:
"Immaculate Conception Catholic Regional School will be a state-of-the-art learning environment so each student's talents may be nurtured and reach their full potential. Immaculate Conception is also a place of faith, the very thread that weaves all learning together in and through the presence and actions of God in our world today. Students will learn that the church is comprised of a Community of faith that is lived each day in each classroom and in each action."
-Father Ronald Brassard, 2009
Immaculate Conception Catholic Regional School can be envisioned as a thriving tree, with its roots firmly grounded in faith, academics, and community. The branches extend into the realms of fine arts and innovation with the ultimate goal of cultivating graduates who bear the fruits of these values, leaving a lasting impact on society as they become creative, compassionate builders of the future.
We equip our graduates with the tools to explore their creativity and navigate the complexities of an ever-changing world. They are the embodiment of our vision, the living testament to the success of our commitment to faith, academics, and community.
At Immaculate Conception Catholic Regional School, our vision is not merely a statement; it's a promise to provide our students with the roots and wings they need to succeed in life.
