IBSTEAM

3rd October 2022 - 2nd April 2024

Objectives of the ERASMUS+ project 2022-1-ES01-KA122-SCH-000077188

Our center has experienced significant growth in recent years, starting with the "Digital Learning Boost Team" formed by 3 people in the 2019/2020 academic year. With the arrival of Covid-19 and the lockdown, the creation of CEP IBSTEAM was accelerated in August 2020 with 9 digital advisors, and currently, the team has grown considerably. This growth presents many challenges for our team. Among the main tasks of the digital advisors are the promotion of digital competence in educational centers and among their teachers, in accordance with the European Commission's Digital Education Action Plan 2021-2027.

Among IBSTEAM's goals for the 2021-2024 period is also that the 456 educational centers in the Balearic Islands carry out an initial diagnosis and develop Digital Center Plans, in the strategy of this digital transformation.

In this context, through this ERASMUS+ project, work will be done on creating quality Digital Educational Resources and developing advanced digital methodologies and competencies, including project-based learning, gamification, augmented reality, programming, inclusive environments, and 3D printing, all to enhance the digital competence of IBSTEAM's advisors, so that they can transfer these learnings to the rest of the teaching community in the Balearic Islands, through the training sessions developed from our Teacher Center.
