My Chromebook will not power on.
Step 1: Make sure your Chromebook has been charged.
Step 2: Make sure that it is actually charging. Check for the light on the side of the Chromebook.
Step 3: If it still does not come on, bring it to the library and we can power wash it. This is a common occurrence with the Chromebooks and a simple fix.
I'm having trouble with the website or app working.
You need to clear the cache.
Step 1: Open up Google Chrome and click the 3 dots at the top right corner.
Step 2: Choose Settings.
Step 3: Search settings for Cache.
Step 4: Click "Clear Browsing Data."
Step 5: Select "All Time" for the time range and then click "Clear data."
Step 6: Under "Clear Browsing Data," you will also see "Cookies and other site data." Click on that.
Step 7: Select "Allow all cookies."
My Chromebook is having trouble doing things, is slow, etc.
You need to update your Chromebook.
Step 1: Click in the bottom right corner of your screen by the time display.
Step 2: Choose the gear icon (this will open up settings).
Step 3: Choose "About Chrome OS" on the left hand side of the page.
Step 4: Check for updates (usually requires a restart when complete).
Step 5: Clear your cache as described in the section above.
My screen is rotated (sideways, upside down, etc.)
