IHS Tech Theater Signups

Working Tech for a Concert or Event

See the Google Doc to sign up to work tech for a concert or event. If you sign up and then are no longer available to work the event it is your responsibility to find a suitable replacement. Any performing arts student may sign up to work an event. For most events no experience is required. However, for choir concerts, jazz concerts, the Teddy Bear Fund Drive and Dancers With Heart and Sole there needs to be at least one experience student in the booth. Students working tech are eligible to earn points for induction and star points towards the International Thespian Society. Students are asked to wear blacks and to arrive at 7:05 for concerts starting at 7:30 unless otherwise instructed by the director or Mrs. Lyons

Working Tech for a Show

Students in Mrs. Lyons' drama advisory have first choice to the shows and positions for which they wish to tech. The remaining positions are then open to any student at IHS. See Mrs. Lyons for a tech application. See an example tech application here.
