The 40:60 project is underway to increase the percentage of mastery of the minimum level of Form Two pupils 2019 in school-operated exams. The issue of pupils not mastering the Minimum Level (TMTM) in school-run examinations needs to be addressed early. The study of needs is the first strategy used to identify issues. The students involved consisted of 142 Form 2 students at SMK Taun Gusi Dua, Kota Belud. Ar3 headcount analysis Form one 2018 is used as a TOV. In this project the examination scores of pupils are not taken 100% of the results of the exam. A total of 40 represents coursework where the scheme of 5% for examination of pupil training books, 15% folio, 15% presentation and 5% face-to-face. The autonomy of the teacher determines the title and type of project. The duration of completion of a project is 1 to 3 months. The 60 is a score from the term exam. The program also includes interventions for teachers, namely the FTF program. The FTF programme aims to empower teachers in addition to optimizing coaching and mentoring. After the project was carried out, the AR2 results showed positive results which is a decrease in TMTM's percentage of 32.16% compared to AR3 2018 of 46.39%. However, these findings are not yet clear showing that the 40:60 project has a positive impact on each different category of pupils in the school. Therefore, a more detailed 40:60 project will be carried out in the second phase whereby the selection of project titles is more of a KBAT question and the middle admin group is enabled in FTF to see the effectiveness of the program in achieving the objectives set.
Teachers play a very important role in helping pupils achieve excellent results. This can be seen from the attitude and personality of the teacher, the low level of knowledge and how the teacher conveys knowledge to his protégé is a factor that can influence the performance and achievement of pupils in each subject. In this regard, it is clear that the role of teachers to try various teaching methods and techniques is highly demanded. If the teacher only uses one or two teaching methods all the time, pupils will get bored and the quality of teacher teaching is less effective. Therefore, diversifying teaching methods will make teacher teaching more attractive and effective even though we know that no one can be considered the best method.
