Blog Page
Blog Leader Job:
You are looking for content from peers and students from other grades. You will be posting the materials on the blog.
- Ask others for writing that they would like to share. Have students share their writing with you. Then, copy and paste into the Blog. Once I have your names, I can give you access.
- Include current event articles for Cutler, such as telling about String Jam or the Ski and Skate Sale.
- Talk to the teachers in other classes to gather content. (We will split up the classrooms among the leaders.)
- Make feature articles, such as jokes, interviews, podcasts, contests, comics, sports,...
- Collect materials from Blog Box, with contest information or submissions.

Podcasts or articles can be:
- A story (yours or read someone else’s)
- A comedy show (jokes or riddles with a partner)
- A debate
- A play with sound effects
- An interview
- A game show
- A How To/ Instructional show (How to play a car game, How to play soccer,...)
- Poetry
- An opinion
- Review a movie or book.
Podcasts should be about 4-8 minutes.
Videos or movies can be any of the things listed for podcasts. They can also be music videos, plays, advertisements, public service announcements (Be Kind), or you could read a book aloud while pointing the camera at the pages.
Also, I need some read aloud book videos for the kindergarten and first grade kids. If you are interested, let me know.
If you are interested in making a podcast, we will be setting up a sound stage soon. Here are some videos on using Garageband for podcasts and for musical uses.
