Evelyn Dick, born October 13, 1920 was convicted of the murder of her husband and baby until her pardon in 1985. Her trials are among the most sensational in Canadian history.
The Unsolved Murder of Audrey Gleave
A Hamilton science teacher was discovered dead by a handyman in her garage in Lynden on December 30, 2010. At first a homeless man was charged with her murder, but in June 2011 the charges were dropped and the murder remains unsolved.

The Unsolved Murders of Lynn and Fred Gillbank
Lynn Gilbank and her husband Fred were found dead in an upstairs room of their Ancaster home by their 27-year-old son. They died from gunshot wounds and were victims of a double homicide. The case is currently unsolved.

Carman "Bud" Ward , 60, was shot in the chest at his Miller Drive home in Ancaster on Monday, December 21, 2015 after two men broke into his home wearing dark clothing.

The Disappearance of Sheryl Sheppard
During a live CHCH broadcast on New Year's Eve 1997, Sheryl Sheppard accepted a wedding proposal from her boyfriend, Michael Lavoie. However, sometime on January 1 or 2, 1998, Sheryl disappeared. The day after she was reported missing, Lavoie attempted suicide in a storage locker. Police suspect foul play but Sheryl has never been found.

The last time anyone saw or heard from Nuseiba Hasan was in the fall of 2006 when a family member dropped her off at the family farm in Flamborough. No one in the family alerted police about her disappearance until 2015. To date she has not been located and foul play is suspected.

The Murder of Adele Komorowski
Adele was a 26-year-old McMaster University graduate student. On May 15, 1973 she was murdered in the ravine behind the campus of McMaster University. She was seen being accosted by a male outside of Brandon Hall, but her killer has never been identified. However, in 2013 her murder was possibly linked to New York State serial killer Robert Garrow.

Dana Zelic, 32, disappeared from her mom's east Hamilton apartment on August 30, 1999. Despite some initial sightings, there has been no sign of Dana since a friend reported seeing her in 2002.

On May 24, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. police responded to what was first reported to be a collision involving an injured person in Hamilton, but then new information indicated that the female, identified as Bonnie Tatti, was thrown from a moving vehicle.

79-year-old Thelma Clapham was discovered on December 2, 2004 at approximately 11:30 a.m. in her Hamilton apartment where she lived alone. She died of blunt force trauma, but there was no sign of forced entry into the apartment.

The Unsolved Homicide of Nicole Dragisic
At 3:40 a.m. on October 16, 2017, a male called 911 from a residence on Barton St E in Hamilton stating that his girlfriend, Nicole Dragisic, 37, had been shot. She died of her injuries at Hamilton General Hospital, survived by her five children. Police called it a targeted attack but are still seeking information.
The Fatal Shooting of Marley Rowe
About 50 or 60 people gathered at a residence on Sherman Avenue at a party on January 1, 2014. At 4:40 a.m. several 911 calls indicated there was a shooting, and while most of the attendees fled the scene, a handful of people tried to help. Marley Rowe, 23, was identified as the victim and was transported to hospital but never revived. Despite the possibility of numerous eyewitnesses, no one came forward.
