Ysgol Y Bedol Governing Body
School Governors have overall responsibility for the school and the responsibility to promote high standards of education and pupils' welfare.
All Governors share the same powers and objectives of protecting the quality of teaching and learning provided by the school; to raise the standards of achievement and attainment of pupils and staff, and to be accountable to the local community for the effectiveness of the school.
If you would like to discuss any matter relating to Ysgol y Bedol then you can speak to any Governor.
The Governing Body is made up of a number of different Governors - parents, staff, community members and Local Authority representatives. The various members represent the views different groups of stakeholders. No member or group is more / less important and decisions are made as one Governing Body.
