Mae Hwb yn wefan (neu blatfform ar-lein) am ddim sy’n helpu athrawon i addysgu a disgyblion i ddysgu. Mae’n cynnwys nifer o apiau a meddalwedd rhad ac am ddim, rhith ddosbarthiadau, a banc enfawr o adnoddau i’w defnyddio yn yr ystafell ddosbarth neu ar-lein gyda’r disgyblion. Gellir ei ddefnyddio i rannu gwaith ysgolion ac i gysylltu gydag ysgolion eraill ar brosiectau. Cafodd Hwb ei lunio a’i adeiladu yng Nghymru, ac mae o safon fyd-eang.
Gall athrawon sefydlu rhith ddosbarthiadau a defnyddio adnoddau fel Google Classroom a Microsoft Teams i osod cwestiynau a gweld yr atebion. Gallant ddefnyddio cyfarpar ac adnoddau Hwb i greu gwersi a gosod gwaith.
Mae ar y we, felly gellir defnyddio unrhyw gyfrifiadur neu ddyfais llechen. Gall eich plentyn fynd i hwb.llyw.cymru a chlicio ar adnoddau a phori drwy’r hyn sydd o ddiddordeb, ond bydd yr ysgol wedi darparu enw defnyddiwr a chyfrinair i fewngofnodi i Hwb, ac wedi rhoi cyfarwyddiadau ynghylch lle bydd y gwaith yn cael ei osod (Google Classroom, Teams, J2e ac ati). O ganlyniad, dim ond eich plentyn chi fydd yn gweld y gwaith a’r wybodaeth benodol sy’n benodol ar ei gyfer.
I weld y gwaith sydd wedi cael ei osod gan yr ysgol, bydd angen i chi fewngofnodi gyda’ch plentyn.
Hwb is a free website (or online platform) that helps teachers teach and pupils learn. It has lots of free apps and software, virtual classrooms, and a massive bank of materials for use in the classroom or online with pupils. It can also be used to share schools’ work and join up with other schools on projects. Hwb was designed and built in Wales and is world-class.
Teachers can set up virtual classrooms and use applications like Google Classroom and Microsoft Teams to set questions and see all the answers. They can use Hwb tools and resources to make lessons and set work.
It’s on the web, so using almost any computer or tablet. Your child can visit hwb.gov.wales and click on resources to browse things of interest, but their school will have provided a username and password to log into Hwb, and instructions on where they will be setting work (Google Classroom, Teams, J2e etc.). That way, work and information specific to your child will only be seen by them.
To see the work set by the school you need to log in with your child.
