Welcome to Our Year 5 & 6 Reading World.

Reading is a big part of life in our classroom. This year, we’re exploring stories that make us laugh, think, question, wonder and sometimes even see the world a little differently.

Our reading choices will take us on all sorts of adventures, from stories filled with mystery and excitement to books that introduce us to new people, places and experiences. Along the way, we’ll share our thoughts, talk about the characters we meet and discover what makes a book memorable.

This website will grow throughout the year, giving you a glimpse into the books we have enjoyed, the activities we have created and the things we have discovered through reading. We’ll also be keeping track of some of our reading achievements and sharing the books we are looking forward to picking up next.
