Or as we call it “The INNOVATION Factory”, where we want to develop learners to be - creative, enterprising, ambitious, well-informed, confident and independent design engineers of the future.

Adran Dylunio a Thechnoleg

Yma yn Ysgol Dyffryn Aman mae gennym amrywiaeth o brofiadau o fewn Dylunio a Thechnoleg, rydym yn ffodus iawn gan ei bod yn adran fawr sydd â dwy ystafell goginio, dau weithdy gwaith coed, dau weithdy metel, ystafell tecstilau, pedair ystafell gyfrifiaduron, stiwdio LEGO a hefyd ystafell Dylunio a Gweithgynhyrchu gyda Chymorth Cyfrifiadur.

Yn yr ystafelloedd hyn mae gennym offer a meddalwedd o safon diwydiant, sef Argraffwyr 3D, Torwyr Laser, Gwasg Wres, Peiriannau Brodwaith, meddalwedd ‘Adobe Creative Suite’ ac ‘Autodesk Inventor’, sydd yn cael eu defnyddio yn ystod cam allweddol tri i greu dyluniadau a prosiectau newydd.

Mae ein hathrawon yn arbenigwyr mewn sawl maes Technoleg ac wedi gweithio i gwmniau mawr fel - Sony, LEGO, cwmniau dylunio graffig a hefyd ym maes hysbysebu - ac maent yn dod ar sgiliau a phrofiadau yma i'n hystafell ddosbarth dysgu.

Design and Technology Department

Here at Ysgol Dyffryn Aman we have a variety of experiences within Design and Technology, we are really lucky as it is a large department which has two cooking rooms, two woodwork workshops, two metal workshops, a textile room, four computer rooms, a LEGO studio and also a Computer Aided Design and Manufacture room.

In these rooms we have industry standard equipment and software, namely 3D Printers, Laser Cutters, a Heat Press, Embroidery Machines, Adobe Creative Suite software and Autodesk Inventor, which you get to use during key stage three to create designs and make new projects.

Our teachers are experts in many areas of Technology and have worked for large companies such as - Sony, LEGO, Graphic design companies and also in advertising/point of sale – skills and experiences which they bring into our classroom.
