Design Technology in our school is a dynamic and practical subject that encourages creativity, problem-solving, and real-world skills. Students explore Product Design and Food & Nutrition at Key Stages 3 and 4, developing their ability to design, make, and evaluate a wide range of products while building technical knowledge and independence. At Key Stage 3, the curriculum is enriched through a broader rotation that also includes Computer Science in Year 7 and Business Studies in Years 8 and 9, helping students understand how design, innovation, and enterprise work together in the modern world. Through hands-on learning and creative thinking, Design Technology prepares students for future study, careers, and everyday life.
