Thomas Percy rented a dwelling near Westminster from which the conspirators initially tunnled toward the palace. he later rented a vault under the Lord's chamber where gun powder was placed and in which fellow conspirator guy fawkes was arrested on November 5 when the plot was betrayed.

Thomas Percy was killed in Holbeche house and there for escaped the fate that fell to who where trailed for treason and hung.
