Croeso i'r tudalen Siarter Iaith!
Welcome to our Siarter Iaith page.
Cymraeg sy’n ffynny yw Cymraeg a ddefnyddir.
A thriving Welsh language is a language that is used.
The Siarter Iaith is an initiative devised by the Welsh Assembly Government to promote the use of Welsh in English-medium schools, establish a Welsh ethos and encourage pupils and staff to develop their Welsh language skills.
It aims to inspire children and young people to use Welsh in all aspects of their lives. All members of the school community are encouraged to develop their Welsh language skills.
Y Wobr Efydd, Arian Ac Aur Bronze, Silver and Gold awards:
The charter provides a framework for schools to follow in order to achieve the awards.
Currently, at St Mark’s V.A. School (Ysgol Sant Marc G.C.), we are working together to achieve the Siarter Iaith Cymraeg Campus Silver Award.
Our Criw Cymraeg (Welsh Crew) are instrumental in leading and driving the Language Charter.
