Learning, playing, praying and growing together to become the best that we can be.
St. Mark’s is a Church in Wales Voluntary Aided primary school catering for pupils between the ages of 3 and 11. We are situated on the southern outskirts of Haverfordwest and primarily serve the catchment area of Merlin’s Bridge. As St. Mark’s is a Church in Wales school, collective worship and religious education are founded in the Anglican tradition.
Welcome from the School Senedd:
Hi. We are the St. Mark's Senedd. Our church and school values, such as caring and kindness, and our rules of being ready, safe and respectful means that we have always got your back. Our school is really friendly and it is really easy to make friends. When you are stuck or hurt, there is always someone there to help you. Pupils love to represent the school in sport and music. There are so many different opportunities for learning, in class, on trips and workshops. It feels such an honour to be in such a special, safe school.
Welcome from Mr Owen
It is a real pleasure to share with you a taste of what our wonderful Church in Wales school has to offer it's community as we serve the families of our pupils here at St. Mark's. Many of our visitors comment on the calm and inclusive ethos that staff and pupils provide to ensure our children engage in a wealth of experiences that set them up as life long learners. We are extremely proud of the way in which our curriculum is designed with a wide range of enriched activities. We work hard to ensure the key skills of reading, number and writing are embedded. Respect, safety and readiness for learning are all at the heart of what we strive for within our Christian values and our pupils are always proud of their place in our school family.
