• Our context has been launched by a very exciting event! We have hatched our very own dinosaur eggs!

• We have co-written a classroom poem based on this experience and have been learning about the features of poetry with a specific focus on rhyme.

• Very excitingly we will also be collaborating on a 'Dinosaur Museum Project' ( which will be held on Friday 6th of February at 2 pm) which we are going to be inviting parents, and pupils from other Steps, to.

• As part of this project we will be learning about:

• Dinosaur Habitats 

• Volcanoes

• Fossils

• Dinosaur Facts 

• We will be creating presentations, artefacts and hopefully some interactive experiences for the Museum visitors!

• We will be using our Literacy skills to create persuasive invitations 

• We will be using our Maths and Numeracy skills to measure dinosaur footprints, bones and teeth!
