Our context has been launched by a very exciting event! We have hatched our very own dinosaur eggs!
We have co-written a classroom poem based on this experience and have been learning about the features of poetry with a specific focus on rhyme.
Very excitingly we will also be collaborating on a 'Dinosaur Museum Project' ( which will be held on Friday 6th of February at 2 pm) which we are going to be inviting parents, and pupils from other Steps, to.
As part of this project we will be learning about:
Dinosaur Habitats
Volcanoes
Fossils
Dinosaur Facts
We will be creating presentations, artefacts and hopefully some interactive experiences for the Museum visitors!
We will be using our Literacy skills to create persuasive invitations
We will be using our Maths and Numeracy skills to measure dinosaur footprints, bones and teeth!
Gallery and Seesaw: Photos and Videos
Please check our main school website gallery to see what we have been doing - both within our Step and across the whole school. You can also access this gallery by clicking the Gallery button on our homepage. Don't forget to check your child's Seesaw account as well, for even more photos and videos!
