TA Digital Training - E-learning Modules
The modules below are self-directed e-learning modules aimed at Teaching Assistants who want to develop their basic skills around some of the software programmes that are used by staff and learners within our schools.

Extra Modules: Most of these extra modules are video recordings to show you how to use some of the tools available in Hwb. Watch around 5 minutes, pause the video and practice what you've seen on the relevant Hwb tool and then repeat that process as you go through the video.

Extra Module - J2e Quick bites - Scroll through the menu of training videos and choose one that is of interest to you and then practice some of the skills/features shown.
Extra Module - Advance Adobe Express - Short video tutorials on some advanced editing features using the Adobe tools. When you land on Dom Traynor's video channel, scroll down past the digital leaders videos and you will see a series of short videos (about 9-10 mins) on different tasks using the Adobe tools. Have a go at creating some of these after watching the video. You are looking for these videos (see image below):

Using AI to enhance Teaching & Learning – Session 1 - 22nd October 2024

This session will give an introduction to using AI to support teaching and learning. It will cover AI platforms that can support teachers to reduce workload and streamline current workflows by using packages such as Co-Pilot to create resources, lesson plans, unit plans, activity ideas etc
These sessions are available to support and develop staff skills and in particular TA digital skills. Therefore, teachers who attend these sessions are expected to run some basic follow up sessions with TA's at their school (covered by the additional funding provided on top of supply cover costs). There is no limit on the number of attendees per school.
