Supporting multilingual learners to develop reading skills – Professional Development Opportunity with Giglets
We are excited to announce a professional development training session aimed at supporting teaching staff in effectively utilising Giglets to enhance the learning experience of multilingual learners in your school. We will be working with Ceri Jones, Education Professional Lead from Giglets.
Following the first two sessions, we will be organising drop in sessions for schools, to share their practice.

About the CPD
During the session, the Education Engagement team will showcasing the enhanced features of Giglets, with its toolkit of engaging activities that can specifically benefit multilingual learners. The session has been thoughtfully designed to provide targeted support and promote linguistic development.
With Giglets, teachers can access a diverse range of texts and interactive materials, enabling them to create immersive learning experiences tailored to the needs of individual learners. The aim of the session is to empower your teachers to foster an inclusive environment that encourages multilingual learners' language acquisition and overall academic growth.
