Our aim at Llangattock CIW Primary School is to be a compassionate and inclusive school community that shines God’s love in all we do. We strive to ‘Light the Way’ for our learners, staff and parents by embracing our core Christian values, which support us on life’s journey to live well together, to love our planet and to strive to be the very best we can be.
"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” Psalm 119:105 – Lighting the Way/Goleuo’r Ffordd.
As a Church in Wales School, our Christian roots are embedded in our Cynefin. In partnership with our local parish church St. Catwg, and our Diocese of Brecon and Swansea, we aim to maintain this identity whilst educating our learners to respect and understand other religious traditions. Our Vision is to enable each child to reach their full potential, both spiritually and intellectually, within a loving, safe and nurturing environment where they are central to all that we do.
The whole school was involved in an exciting initiative, funded by Bishop John – PROJECT TOUCHLINE.
Chris Andrew attended school to work with our pupils, developing their tag rugby skills and promoting Christian values.
Many pupils also enjoyed the opportunity to attend “Prayer Club”. A prayer club every Friday has been set up as a legacy.
