Ysgol Cross Hands School

Mae’n bleser gennym gyhoeddi bod Ysgol Gymraeg Cross Hands bellach yn bencampwyr heb-ddatgoedwigo! Yn dilyn prosiect pwysig gyda Maint Cymru (Size of Wales), mae ein disgyblion wedi gweithio’n hynod galed i ddysgu am amddiffyn ein coedwigoedd a’r byd naturiol o’n cwmpas.

Yn ystod y prosiect, rhannodd y plant eu syniadau ar gyfer brownis cynaliadwy, i’w cyflenwi i ysgolion ledled Sir Gâr, gyda aelodau bwrdd Castell Howell. Roedd fel golygfa allan o The Apprentice – hyderus, creadigol, a llawn egni!

Rydyn ni’n hynod falch o’u cyflawniadau ac o’u hyder i drafod mater mor bwysig. Da iawn bawb – rydych chi wir yn ysbrydoli!

We are delighted to announce that Cross Hands Schools are now officially deforestation-free champions! Following an important project with Size of Wales, our pupils have worked incredibly hard to learn about protecting forests and the natural world around us.

During the project, the children shared their ideas for sustainable brownies, to be supplied to schools across Carmarthenshire, with members of the Castell Howell board. It was like a scene straight out of The Apprentice – confident, creative, and full of energy!

We are extremely proud of their achievements and of the confidence they showed when discussing such an important issue. Well done everyone – you are truly inspiring!
